Sky High Biscuits
Tender and flaky, these are a perfect addition to soup, meat and potatoes, or a one-dish meal.

- 2 c flour
- 1 c whole wheat flour
- 4 1/2 t baking powder
- 2 T sugar
- 1/2 t salt
- 3/4 t cream of tartar
- 3/4 c margarine
- 1 egg
- 1 c milk
Combine flours, baking powder, sugar, salt, and cream of tartar.
Cut in margarine until mixture resembles coarse cornmeal.
Add egg and milk, stirring quickly and briefly.
Knead lightly on floured board.
Roll to 1" thickness. Cut and place on cookie sheet. Bake 450° for 12-15 min.
