Goat Cheese and Pesto Crescents

- 1 package crescent rolls
- 1/4 c pesto
- 2 T goat cheese crumbles
Pesto
- 3/4 c basil leaves
- 1/2 t garlic powder
- 1/4 t salt
- drizzled olive oil
- 1/4 c walnuts
- 2 T grated parmesan cheese
Prepare Pesto
In a small food processor, combine washed and dried basil leaves, garlic, and salt and process until smooth.
Drizzle a small amount of olive oil, just enough to make it a spreadable consistency.
Add walnuts and parmesan cheese and process again, adding a little bit of oil if needed.
Assemble Crescents
Open package of prepared crescent roll dough and place each triangle onto a baking sheet.
Spread about a tablespoon (or less) of pesto onto each triangle.
Add 1 t goat cheese to the larger end of each triangle and roll up rolls.
Brush with egg wash and bake at 350° for 17 minutes.
