It’s Detox Time! After all of the weekend celebrating with food, let’s get back on track with a Strawberry Kale Smoothie. This is my go-to for a veggie-packed but sweet-flavored morning start.

Strawberry Kale Smoothie

Use Frozen Fruit, if possible

It just makes the smoothie that much colder and thicker while eliminating the need for ice cubes, which just water it down.

Whenever I have bananas turning brown, I peel them and place in a container in the freezer. This way, I always have a supply ready for smoothies or banana bread. If you keep a large bag of frozen strawberries on hand, a Strawberry Kale Smoothie can be made any time you have kale.

Strawberry Kale Smoothie Variations

Smoothies are one of the most versatile combinations. Tou can add whatever you want to make it healthier, sweeter, creamier, chunkier, or however your taste buds demand tastier! This combination shows the milk and kale being blended together first to help get those tiny kale pieces thoroughly broken down. Then, I added half of a frozen banana plus frozen blueberries and strawberries and half a scoop of vanilla protein powder. So yummy! And so much raw kale to get my body started for a busy day.
